The hidden beauty of the FSU

The former Soviet Union, which was really we know about life, Soviet values or the culture and tradition in these countries? In truth, we knew very little, the Iron Curtain, as its name suggests, seemingly inpenetrable. We were led to believe that capitalism is good and easy Communism was bad, yes? The simple, black and white, yes? Now we were a surprise, many of these countries in their hidden treasures and delights contain many admirable qualities, habits, traditions and moral values. There also was a big surprise for many men to find that in these Countries, so many beautiful women lived

No it was not the size of their armed forces. Not their nuclear capacity, nor the progress that its scientists were making in the construction of more destructive weapons. None of her best and most well hidden secret was that these countries were and are home to a surprising high number of beautiful women.

It is now quite hard to believe that 10-15 years only very few people in the West realize that probably the greatest concentration of beautiful women on the planet were living in the former USSR. No, that was a secret that she hid from the world very successfully. What is more, not only so many of these Women's very nice, they also share many very attractive features.

It is not long ago that the Iron Curtain fell, and that the countries of the FSU in the west to the began to open. What we knew of life in these countries before this time? In truth, little, very little.

It is now clear that this was untrue. While clearly the communist system contained many failures (not even capitalism?), many aspects of communism and still highly admirable. On top of that list that the education system, which was to be developed.

It appears that a very high percentage of the younger generations through a global standard are highly educated. Very high quality of education appears to be available in a high proportion of youth of this country to win and also a good education and skill is something that the youth of these countries were too important to think seriously taken.

It is fair to say, the qualities shared by so many of the ladies of these countries actually only be seen by the design of the Internet and it is one of those twists of irony that the collapse of the former Soviet Union and the invention of the Internet was virtually it at the same time.

Would the internet as accessible in these countries under the old communist system? I have my doubts. So, what is special about these ladies? The list of characteristics and attributes, that is so huge, many of these women share.

So many are seriously too smart, clever and intelligent, but quiet Sun They share a quiet confidence and inner strength. While, according to Western standards, these women are usually of modest if there were not many social occasions in which they would feel overwhelmed. They share a quiet inner strength and confidence. There is a subtle and quiet Fact. Just as many of these ladies seem to share an innate sense of style and seem to share very good taste.

This is all the more surprising that each of Action, these ladies are not available to them to much money. Quite literally, it is possible in many cities and towns, the ladies would look like To see quite at home on the cover of Cosmopolitan either, or Vogue!

These ladies are very proud of their appearance in every respect and beauty salons everywhere. These ladies take care of all, they are very careful about their public presentation and yes they look really good. How do they balance that with their limited Budget is still a mystery. The list goes on. Similarly, many of these women are naturally elegant and this is not a store bought elegance, but simply as they are. Considering is that the majority of these ladies happy when they earn $ 100 per week, it is quite amazing.

Truest sense of the word happiness foreign people the heart of one of these women wins and gets them to take home, is a very happy man. So now we know, the secret is out and a steadily increasing number Explore from people all over the world for themselves the qualities and attractions of the Russian and Ukrainian women.

New in paper! Cosmopolitan: A Bartender’s Life is a memoir of the bartending life structured as a day in the life at Passerby, the bar owned and run by Toby Cecchini. It is, as well, a rich study of human nature—of the sometimes annoying, sometimes outlandish behavior of the human animal under the influence of alcohol, lust, and the sheer desire to bust loose and party. It’s not a pretty picture, but it’s always compelling through the gimlet-eyed gaze of the author. As his typical day progresses, from the almost pastoral quiet of opening the bar and setting up to the gathering rush of customers dropping in after work to the sheer madness of catering to a crazed crush of funseekers, Toby Cecchini muses over a life spent in the service industry and the fascinating particulars of his chosen profession. Topics touched on include dealing with regulars, both welcome and not; sex and the bartender; cocktail connoisseurs (and drinks he refuses to make); learning the bartending ropes of the Odeon when young and newly arrived in New York; the sheer man-killing pace of keeping those drinks coming at flood tide; and the manifold varieties of weirdness and bad behavior that every bartender has to learn how to manage. Cosmopolitan: A Bartender’s Life is the hip, behind-the-scenes look at the frenzied yet undeniably fun atmosphere of that great establishment—the bar—and Toby Cecchini is, by turns, witty, acute, mordant, and lyrical in dealing with the realities of his job, shedding plenty of light on the hidden corners of what people do when they go out at night. Toby Cecchini is part owner of the bar/gallery Passerby, located in New York’s far west Chelsea neighborhood. He began his bartending career in the mid-eighties at New York’s fabled bar and restaurant Odeon, where he began the Cosmopolitan cocktail revival. Cosmopolitan began as a series of acclaimed diaries in Slate. Cecchini has also written for The New York Times Magazine and the Times’s Style section. He lives in New York City.
