Not just famous for its quintessential culture, tradition and the typical "all the South" in food, in Chennai rapidly growing in the country focal point for the latest in and around high-end fashion and lifestyle, not only with designer labels, lifestyle shops and magazines and fashion shows …
Opening his heart for the world, Chennai all set to welcome the International Fashion Week – The first global city fashion event to be held on – by D ECEMBER 14 to 20th in December 2009, at the Le Royal Meriden, Chennai. Keep pace with the constantly changing, dynamic world of fashion, these fast-growing metro has something much more exciting to look forward, to me the next month. Organized by Storm Fashions, CIFW will have 10 international designers whose collections will be presented by 10 international beauty contest winners from several countries, walk the ramp for the first time in Chennai. Apart from the 60 fashion shows are 30 Indian designers as well as function. If this is not enough to attract fashionistas from all over, CIFW will be highlighted by the presence of athletes, movie stars and more national and international super performers and other celebrities.
Marketing and professional services Gaurav Sharma is director of the event and Shakti Girish, Editor, Galatta Cinema; Girish Ramdas, President, Galatta.com, Arun Mammen, Meera Chopra and Pratap Pothen will be the team advisor. Atul Kelkar, Jamshed Mistry, Sangeeta Sadarangani, Sandip Soparkkar, Arjun Bajwa, Francois Lavergene, Vipul Mathur, Mehar Bhasin, Anupama Varma and Rahul Dev Shetty, the adviser to be outside Chennai.
Chennai International Fashion Week definitely promises a lot of entertainment, Glamour and dazzle, apart from still has much more in international couture, trends, while a wonderful and big screen for the emerging designers and Fashionistas on a much larger extent than before.
