Casa De Carmona Hotel near Seville
The Casa de Carmona Hotel has been described as one of the unique and elegant hotels in Spain. It is a lovingly restored castle from the 16th Century to a small hotel with character, with 33 bedrooms in the little old hill, walled, picturesque town of Carmona, just 20 minutes outside of Seville and only 15 minutes from the airport, and stay there in the house of a Spanish noble man to stay with good taste.
Our first sight of Carmona, and the Casa de Carmona was driving in the early evening towards Seville. We saw what looked like an old walled city on a hill, and could now imagine that in the Middle Ages held from hordes of invaders.
Find the hotel itself was a little complicated by the narrow streets of the city, but it was the effort value. I was very concerned about the parking and unloading our Chrysler Voyager, but very quickly I discovered that the Casa de Carmona is different. The narrow streets lead to what seems an impossible parking, but suddenly there was a porter, park my car and a hotel boy, in shorts and tights, who was dressed in our bags to our room.
A charming young lady of the reception we met at the door of the hotel, and not only showed us our room, but also around the hotel.
We stayed in the Room five, the closest to the pool and very romantic too. If you are looking for the ideal weekend retreat, perhaps to impress a lover, or better still a honeymoon stopover, then you've found your perfect destination almost. You can tactfully privacy can be secured in an area that refined Taste is almost a bye word!
First impressions remain alive, and on entering the House by a deep-red terracotta patio, which leads through the reception They realize it's different. A second terrace filled with plants in large pots and kept in the same colors, forms the central focus of the hotel. There are many Plants, marble colonnades, fragrant flowers, birds singing and the gentle splashing of the fountain. A romantic walled courtyard with an exquisite formal gardens, a picture-perfect pool fed by five wells.
This is an oasis of calm, and while it may just lack a little of the luxury of a top hotel, you will know You have found a gem.
After looking around the farms and gardens, you will end up in the library and a complimentary drink from the free bar. The largest Joy is that your maid will unpack for you if you want and you can leave your shoes outside your room to be polished, is all that do you have to ask the receptionist.
The public rooms of the hotel to the central courtyard with a chess room and library, a little formal , and could almost be a museum of antiquities. But the? Loggia? In addition to the total pool is lighter and brighter. And everything you expect in a luxury hotel found They also read a variety of books and magazines, play a video recorder and music system and enjoy hundreds of films and CDs. But this is definitely a hotel for People who want to relax in the courts, from the sun in the shade and the scent of orange trees and jasmine. The world of the 21st Century is easily apparent far away.

And you can find the same aristocratic elegance, with carefully selected pastel colors (predominantly pale blues and greens) and a large selection of antique furniture, Cabinet including desks, ornate mirrors, brass lamps, and a big hat. It is to the musty-limiting, but on a range of modern facilities it really is: Hi-Fi, air conditioning, video, ambient lighting. An undisclosed mirrored door leads into an impressive large bathroom, with elaborate brass faucets shower heads and wide, double sinks, green and terracotta walls. It would be fair to say, the plumbing can gargle, and the color has faded a bit, but somehow is all the glamor added.
The restaurant is in the room, was used in the stables of the castle. Only the life-size frescoes scary staring white horses remember of his past.
The antique tables, chairs, glasses, all in accordance with the hotel.
