Which sewing machine is best for the production of underwear?

I am a beginner, but I would really really make it through the purchase Type of machine (for sensitive materials and basic materials such as cotton to make the right bras, etc.) Would a serger be better? I am a bit perplexed, but I am determined to learn. Thanks in advance for anyone who responds

A serger is very useful for jobs like attaching elastic covered seams and stitching, but you still need a good sewing machine, too.
