Lingerie Shower Invitations

Ok, so I've heard all kinds of stories do not have set the registry cards in the wedding invitation envelope, they put Bridal Shower envelope (for my MOH to do to). Here is my question: I have heard people say that the bridal shower for the bride to receive them, what for. Am I supposed to do a registration for order only for me and what it would be, as what lingerie stuff for the honeymoon (as I have on many TV movies and shows seen)? My stops are usually made of linen, towels, pots, pans, etc. I am registered at Walmart, Target and Bed, Bath & Beyond. What should I do?
Register No, not for personal items such as a lingerie. The bridal shower is to help you set your new home. Register so that people know your taste, and not the things that do not go well together, or duplicate items. Your registration is good as it is. Typically, lingerie, if is purchased, it is the bridesmaids or mother of the bride, because this is a personal element.
