What did not understand what Nintendo audience respond?

I own a lingerie company, everything went well. Suddenly, however, sales have gone down in my the U.S. because I started to try and get men to wear bras sexy … Why is this happening? (This is in no way intended to be sexist, it is merely to show, that if you're a gamer, you want games console, not a gimmicky and cheap magnet for secular games.)

People think things like that maybe not be aligned with the company's confidence because they think, the stuff is for older people …. my guess.
