A magazine cover designer?

Designers like working with HP and adding visual effects. And captions, fonts, etc. That's my Dream job. I'm leaning towards a fashion magazine and I was wondering if there is a proper name for this position in addition to just a graphics designer? Also would like be difficult to maintain this position with a well-known form such as Vogue, Elle, Nylon, etc. Any information would be appreciated! Thank you!
