Where do you get fashion ideas/inspiration from?
Where do you get fashion ideas/inspiration from?
This may sound weird but I get alot of ideas from fantasy movies, like Robin Hood and Lord of the Rings. I love the earthy, magical looks of the clothes and the hair. I like to wear things like tunics, shawls/cloaks, flat boots, and antique stone jewlery.
I also like vintage pieces from the 60′s, 70′s, and 80′s. Usually I’ll get ideas from magazines like Teen Vogue.
those are beautiful inspirations you have. i usuallt stray from contemporary fashion magazines and such. i look to national geographic, astophysics, world history, furniture, books and simply peoples bodies on the street for inspiration. Comfort is very important to me so human form is a priority when I’m designing.
